Illumine8 continues to bring home the gold! Our inbound marketing agency won a pair of gold MarCom Awards, including our first for marketing strategy.
We submitted an eBook for our client, Ryan Homes at Brunswick Crossing, a master-planned community in Brunswick, Maryland. The gold-winning eBook was called Home Energy Comparison Guide.
Written by Kelly Jacobson and designed by Erik Pitzer, the submission was for the Digital Media category under the E-Communication and E-Book (iBook) subcategories.
We also submitted a marketing campaign for Brunswick Crossing called Love, Ryan.
Our first gold-winning campaign was strategized by Mira Bragg and submitted for the Strategic Communications category under the Marketing/Promotion Campaign and Digital Marketing subcategories.
The Valentine's Day-themed campaign differentiated the Ryan Homes brand and highlighted what separates Brunswick Crossing from its competitors.
The campaign included five video testimonials from real homeowners in the community and the Love, Ryan event. The videos and event were planned and executed by Bragg and Mark Ryba.
Content marketing for the Love, Ryan campaign included social media, email, landing pages, and blogs by Bragg and Jacobson.
“We’re thrilled to earn these two awards from the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP),” Christina May, CMO and founder of Illumine8, said. “Thank you to our amazing team and our client."
Our seventh and eighth wins of the year come from “an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communication professionals,” according to the MarCom Winner Letter.
More than 6,500 entries came from more than 20 countries, including Canada, China, England, Germany, Guam, India, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Turkey, and the United States.
These entries were judged for "talents [that] exceed a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry."
Top entrants included "corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers."
The likelihood of being selected was as follows, according to the MarCom Awards Winner Letter:

The awards are "administered and judged by the" AMCP, an international organization that consists of several thousand creative professionals.
