Illumine8 is racking up the awards this year! Our inbound marketing agency won platinum and gold dotComm Awards for content marketing.
We submitted an eBook for our client, Kaempf & Harris, a commercial sheet metal fabrication shop in Frederick, Maryland. The platinum-winning eBook was called Guide To Quality Assurance Best Practices.
Written by Kelly Jacobson and designed by Erik Pitzer, the submission was for the Content Marketing category under the eBooks subcategory.
We also submitted an eBook for Illumine8 called Leveraging Agency Partners To Maximize Marketing ROI: A Playbook for the same award. The gold-winning eBook was written by Steve Surdez and designed by Pitzer. To download your copy, click on the button below:
“We’re so proud of our team and clients,” Christina May, CMO and founder of Illumine8, said. “Thank you to the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP) for these two awards.”
Our fourth and fifth win of the year comes from “an international competition honoring excellence in web creativity and digital communication,” according to the dotComm website.
More than 2,000 entries came from Australia, Canada, England, Germany, Portugal, Russia, the United States, and other countries.
Entries were submitted for more than 240 categories, according to the dotComm Awards press release. These entries celebrate “interactivity, content, design, social media, video, apps, blog, and influencers” as part of “important components to digital public relations, marketing, and advertising campaigns.”
Top entrants included “corporate communication departments, public relations firms, digital shops, advertising agencies, and freelancers”. Other entrants included solo “[graphic] designers, developers, content producers, digital artists, video professionals, account supervisors, creative directors, and corporate executives.”
The likelihood of being selected was as follows, according to the dotComm Awards website:
- 13 percent platinum
- 13 percent gold
- 5 percent honorable mention*
The international awards competition is for those that reflect “the role of creatives in the dynamic web that’s transforming how we market and communicate products and services.”
The awards are “administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals,” an “international organization [that] consists of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, media production, and freelance professionals.”
Once again, thank you so much to the AMCP and dotComm Awards for choosing our guides out of thousands of entries from around the world. We look forward to working toward another statuette in the future!
